The gateway is the foundational introduction to the Omega Programme. It provides a doorway to the rest of the course, setting expectations for what is to come. It previews the forthcoming modules, sets the scene, and allows delegates to decide if they wish to commit to the rest of the programme.
It explores the current world status, with particular focus on how the spiritual climate of the UK is changing. This includes how legislation is marginalising Christians, the rise of Islam and issues arising within the established Church.
The module considers key questions about the future, such as ‘will things get better or worse?’, ‘could Jesus come at any moment?’ and ‘will believers escape trouble?’ We consider the significance of Biblical prophecy, including what has already been fulfilled and what remains to come.
